Since students do not go to a physical school building every day, how do they interact socially?
Throughout the year, families are invited to participate in varied school outings that occur virtually and at physical locations. Our families are invited to participate in community events, field trips, school wide assemblies and other varied opportunities for interaction. Additionally, we provide families the opportunity to get together in their local communities through the use of our private Facebook groups area. We continue to expand opportunities for our students to engage and collaborate in online discussions, Esports teams, community service and more.
Will my child have the same graduation opportunities as students in traditional public schools?
Yes, Insight Academy of Arizona is a public school in Arizona. Our High School students are required to meet the same graduation expectations as all enrolled students in the state of Arizona. Graduation requirements include earning credits in specific subject areas with a graduate earning at least 22 credits in specific subject areas during their years in high school. Our school academic counselors work with students to review credits earned and credits needed annually so families are kept informed of the credit requirements toward earning a high school diploma.
