Blended Learning Programs
Choose the Mix of Online and Onsite Learning That Works for Your Child
Stride K12 Blended Learning—a tuition-free program offered by Arizona Virtual Academy and Insight School of Arizona—combines the best of online learning with a structured classroom environment at two locations in Arizona.
The Blended Learning team is excited to provide peer to peer socialization, academic support and a safe learning environment for our students in the Queen Creek and Kingman areas.
Our program provides supports through 3 options: Traditional, Specialized/Drop-In Support Workshops and Community Days.
With Stride K12 Blended Learning, students in grades 4–12 work alongside paraprofessionals and Arizona Certified teachers, receiving instruction tailored to fit their unique learning needs. They access Stride K12’s engaging online curriculum and hands-on materials along with onsite instructional support and enrichment opportunities.
Blended Learning students are able to choose a full or part-time model for traditional schooling.
- Full time: Mondays and Wednesdays, 8am-12pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8am - 3pm.
- Part time: Please speak with Blended Learning staff about your student's participation needs.
Blended Learning Centers are all equipped with computers for participating students. Students are expected to bring their books with them each day as necessary for the planned coursework. Transportation is currently the responsibility of each student and family for their scheduled Center sessions. We provide public transportation options for students in selected areas.
Students interested in participating in the Blended Learning traditional program must first be enrolled in AZVA or ISAZ. Once enrolled, a participation packet is required to be filled out and turned in at the Blended Learning Center. Approval will need to be obtained prior to starting. Regular attendance is required.
Specialized Support Workshops
Specialized workshops are geared to specific academic focus such as online assignment help, learning coach assistance, and tutoring. These workshops are held Monday and Wednesday afternoons (1-3pm) and all AZVA/ISAZ students are welcome. See calendar or click on this link to contact our Blended Learning sites
Join us for extra-curricular activities at our Blended Learning centers! All AZVA/ISAZ students are invited to participate on Fridays for community days. We will have specific themes and many student-friendly, fun-filled community events for everyone to enjoy! See calendar for more info.
