Meet New Friends and Connect with Your Online Community
Wondering how you'll stay social this school year? Let us count the ways!
E-sports Opportunities
Looking for an alternative to traditional athletics that still teaches teamwork, communication, and decision-making skills? E-sports League promotes character development, discipline, self-esteem, and sportsmanship through gameplay! Students ages 13+ have opportunities for open play, varsity matches, and open or in-season tournaments in League of Legends, Chess, Fortnite, Rocket League, and Valorant!
Age requirements and school participation may vary by school or state. Please check with your school to confirm eligibility.
Summer Brain Boost
Looking for ways to keep your students entertained this summer? Try our enrichment program with a digital library, fun learning games, and challenges! Check your announcements in the Online School for more information about availability at your school.
Looking for something that fits your interests? We have sessions devoted to a variety of special interest areas! You'll have the chance to hear and learn from professionals and interact with other students. Get excited for more to come!
Open to all students, you can enter competitions like our Innovation Challenge, National Cook-Off, Spelling Bee, photography, and art competitions to compete for big prizes on a national level.
You and your fellow students at K12-powered schools can compete in quarterly Minecraft challenges, bi-monthly photo contests, the Reel Me video contest, and more.
Want to expand your horizons, try something new, and learn from a pro? Stride Enrichment Programs offer multi-week courses to help you build skills and create spotlight items for your résumé, portfolio, and even college applications and scholarships. Popular topics include Roblox coding, augmented reality development, Story Maker with animation, entrepreneurship, scratch coding, and more!
School-Specific Clubs
Depending on your interests, each K12-powered school has so much to offer you and your classmates. Imagine participating in a First Chapter Friday or a Spelling, Anime, Drama, or Rocket Club. Options are endless since many schools are willing to help you create a club around your interests. What's more, career-minded students may be able to participate in many different clubs like SkillsUSA, DECA, or Future Farmers of America. Contact your local school for all clubs available this year.
School Field Trips, Events, and Outings
Your school administrators and staff are always thinking of something new. Don't miss the announcements in the OLS about specially planned events at your school.
