Personalized Learning
When it Comes to Education, There Is No One Size Fits All
If you put a squirrel and a fish in front of a tree and judged their competence by how well they can climb it, you wouldn’t be letting the fish reveal its true potential. That’s how we think about kids: people of infinite potential who need the right environment to thrive. Giving every kid the opportunity to achieve is at the core of K12.
Asynchronous Learning. A New Approach to Education
Having to be in classes all day can detract from learning. K12 solves this with Asynchronous Learning. This means kids and their families can create schedules that work best for them.
This gives students the flexibility to learn from wherever best suits them, move around without constraints, and work with their parents to choose when they spend time in class and when they work on their projects. This is how we keep kids engaged and learning.
No Two Kids Are The Same They Shouldn’t Learn The Same Way
K12’s personalized learning program tailors school to every kid’s needs, talents, and interests. We use varied teaching styles both online and off to teach kids at their own pace and provide full visibility to their parents.
Special Needs
When kids can’t keep up, the fault lies in an education system that’s failing to teach them the right way. We help students with learning disabilities thrive by implementing Individualized Education Plans.
We meet multiple times a year to assess education plans.
We identify each student's individual needs and offer support on a case-by-case basis.
We regularly meet with students and families to review academic goals and progress.
